We make our fiberglass rope from high-quality Type E fiberglass yarns. We knit it into both soft and dense forms. It won’t burn and can withstand continuous temperatures up to 1000°F (540°C). Manufacturers use fiberglass rope in seals for boilers, ovens, and stoves. It’s also used in high-temperature industrial packing and expansion joints. You can improve most fiberglass ropes for abrasion resistance.
They can be:
-
wire jacketed with stainless steel mesh;
-
coated with high-temperature silicone elastomer.
-
overbraided with fiberglass.
-

Glass Fiber Rope supplied with a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) to ease installation.
