Quartz glass isn’t practical for household windows because:
- Cost – It’s way more expensive to make than regular glass.
- Fragility – While heat-resistant, it cracks easier under sudden pressure changes.
- Unnecessary features – Its high melting point (over 1,600°C) isn’t needed for windows.
Normal glass works fine for homes and costs way less.
