PTFE Gaskets for Chemical, Thermal & Pressure Sealing

PTFE gaskets are sealing components manufactured from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin, either by cutting from skived or molded sheet, or by compression molding into the desired shape. They are widely used in chemical processing, pharmaceutical, food and other industries where broad chemical compatibility and temperature resistance are required.

PTFE gaskets are available in virgin (unfilled) grade for maximum chemical resistance and electrical insulation, and in filled grades (glass fiber, carbon, graphite, bronze, etc.) to improve creep resistance, compressive strength and thermal conductivity for more demanding service conditions. Custom sizes and non-standard shapes can be produced according to drawings or samples.

We supply PTFE gaskets for overseas distributors, industrial buyers, gasket fabricators, maintenance companies and OEM customers, with different grades, dimensions, thicknesses and packaging available according to specification.

Outstanding Chemical Resistance PTFE is virtually inert to almost all chemicals, acids, solvents and alkalis.
Wide Temperature Range Continuous service from -180°C to +260°C, suitable for cryogenic and high-temperature applications.
Low Friction & Non-Stick PTFE has one of the lowest coefficients of friction, reducing wear and adhesion.
Custom Dimensions Available in any inner/outer diameter and thickness to match your flange or equipment.
Material Advantages

Why Choose PTFE Gaskets?

PTFE gaskets combine outstanding chemical resistance, wide temperature capability, low friction and excellent sealing performance for demanding industrial applications.

01

Chemical Inertness

PTFE gaskets are resistant to virtually all industrial chemicals, making them ideal for aggressive media including strong acids, bases and solvents.

02

Wide Temperature Range

PTFE gaskets maintain their sealing properties from approximately -180°C to +260°C, covering cryogenic through high-temperature services.

03

Low Creep Relaxation (Filled Grades)

Filled PTFE grades (glass, carbon, graphite) exhibit improved creep resistance, maintaining bolt load and seal integrity over time.

04

Low Friction & Non-Stick

PTFE's non-stick surface prevents gasket adhesion to flange faces, facilitating easy removal and replacement.

05

Excellent Dielectric Properties

PTFE gaskets provide excellent electrical insulation, suitable for applications involving electrical isolation.

06

B2B Industrial Supply

Suitable for industrial distributors, OEM customers, maintenance companies and bulk purchasing programs.

Selection Guide

How to Choose PTFE Gaskets

The correct PTFE gasket grade, dimensions and thickness should be selected based on chemical exposure, temperature, pressure, flange type and required compliance.

01

Grade Selection

Choose virgin PTFE for broadest chemical resistance and electrical properties. Choose filled PTFE for improved creep resistance, compressive strength and dimensional stability under load.

02

Dimensions & Thickness

Specify inner diameter, outer diameter and thickness based on flange or equipment dimensions. Thicker gaskets compensate for uneven surfaces.

03

Operating Conditions

Chemical exposure, temperature range, pressure and mechanical load determine the appropriate grade and thickness.

04

Compliance Requirements

Specify if FDA compliance, RoHS documentation, or other material certifications are required for your application.

Manufacturing

Controlled Production for Consistent Quality

Consistent material composition, dimensional accuracy and surface finish are important for reliable PTFE gasket performance.

PROCESS / 01

Material Preparation

Virgin PTFE resin or filled compounds are prepared according to the required grade and specification.

PROCESS / 02

Molding / Cutting

PTFE gaskets are produced by compression molding into the required shape or by cutting from PTFE sheet or tube to the specified dimensions.

PROCESS / 03

Inspection & Testing

Finished gaskets are checked for dimensional accuracy, thickness, density, tensile strength and surface quality.

PROCESS / 04

Packaging & Shipment

Gaskets are packaged individually or in sets with protective interleaving, ready for export.
