Explore beater sheet gasket paper for industrial sealing and gasket fabrication. Available in various grades for oil, fuel, water and general chemical resistance, with multiple thicknesses and sheet sizes.
Beater sheet, also referred to as beater paper or beater-add gasket paper, is a fiber-based sealing material produced by beating cellulose or synthetic fibers into a slurry and forming into sheets with elastomeric binders such as nitrile rubber (NBR) or phenolic resin. It is designed for gasket fabrication in applications requiring oil, fuel and water resistance at low to medium pressures.
The sheet offers good compressibility, excellent conformability to flange surfaces, and reliable sealing in internal combustion engines, gearboxes, compressors, pumps and pipe flanges. Depending on the binder system and fiber type, beater sheet can be selected for specific media such as oils, fuels, water and mild chemicals.
We supply beater sheet / paper for overseas distributors, industrial buyers, gasket manufacturers, maintenance companies and OEM customers, with different grades, thicknesses, sheet sizes and custom cutting available according to specification.
Beater sheet offers a cost-effective, easy-to-fabricate and reliable sealing solution for a wide range of low to medium pressure industrial applications.
Nitrile rubber bonded grades provide excellent resistance to oils, fuels, greases and hydrocarbons, making them suitable for engine and transmission gaskets.
Beater sheet conforms well to rough or uneven flange surfaces, ensuring a tight seal without excessive bolt load.
Compared to other gasket materials, beater sheet offers an economical solution for low to medium pressure applications without compromising sealing performance.
The sheet can be easily cut, punched, die-cut or waterjet cut into custom gasket shapes for various flange configurations.
Different binder systems (NBR, phenolic, etc.) and fiber types are available to meet specific media and temperature requirements.
Suitable for industrial distributors, gasket fabricators, OEM customers, maintenance companies and bulk purchasing.

The correct beater sheet grade and dimensions should be selected based on media, temperature, pressure, flange type and required compliance.
Identify the fluid or gas to be sealed (oil, fuel, water, mild chemicals) to select the appropriate binder system and grade.
Determine the operating temperature and pressure to choose a grade that can withstand the service conditions.
Specify the required sheet thickness and sheet dimensions. Thicker sheets are used for rough or uneven flange surfaces.
Specify if RoHS, REACH, or other material certifications are required for your application.
Consistent fiber dispersion, binder content, sheet density and thickness tolerance are critical for reliable beater sheet gasket paper performance.
Cellulose or synthetic fibers are beaten and refined to achieve the desired fiber length and fibrillation for sheet formation.
The fiber slurry is formed into sheets and bonded with elastomeric binders (NBR, phenolic) under controlled pressure.
Sheets are dried and cured to develop mechanical properties, then inspected for thickness, density, tensile strength and surface quality.
Sheets are cut to standard or custom sizes, and packaged with protective interleaving for export and storage.
