Asbestos rubber sheet, commonly known as Paronite in Eastern European and Russian markets, is a compressed fiber sheet material manufactured from chrysotile asbestos fibers and elastomeric binders such as NBR or SBR. It is widely used for gasket fabrication in applications requiring high-temperature resistance, steam sealing and good chemical compatibility.
The sheet offers excellent mechanical strength, low creep relaxation, good compressibility and recovery, and resistance to steam, oils, water and many organic solvents. Depending on the grade, asbestos rubber sheet can withstand continuous temperatures up to +400°C to +450°C, making it suitable for steam boilers, heat exchangers and high-temperature piping.
We supply asbestos rubber sheet for overseas distributors, industrial buyers, gasket manufacturers, maintenance companies and OEM customers, with different grades, thicknesses, sheet sizes and custom cutting available according to specification. Use only where permitted by local regulations.
Asbestos rubber sheet (Paronite) provides high-temperature resistance, chemical resistance and mechanical strength for demanding industrial applications where permitted.
Asbestos rubber sheet can withstand continuous temperatures up to +400°C or +450°C depending on grade, suitable for steam and hot oil service.
Good resistance to steam, hot water, oils and many organic solvents; not recommended for strong acids and alkalis.
Asbestos fiber provides high tensile strength and dimensional stability under high bolt loads and pressure.
The sheet conforms well to flange irregularities, providing effective sealing even on rough surfaces.
Paronite is generally economical compared to many alternative high-temperature sealing materials.
Suitable for distributors, gasket fabricators, OEM customers and bulk purchasing in permitted regions.

The correct asbestos rubber sheet grade and dimensions should be selected based on media, temperature, pressure, flange type and regulatory compliance.
Identify the fluid or gas to be sealed (steam, oil, water, mild chemicals) to select the appropriate binder and grade.
Determine the operating temperature and pressure to choose a grade that can withstand the service conditions.
Specify the required sheet thickness and dimensions. Thicker sheets are used for rough or uneven flange surfaces.
Confirm that asbestos rubber sheet is permitted in your region and application before ordering.
Consistent fiber dispersion, binder content, sheet density and thickness tolerance are critical for reliable asbestos rubber sheet performance.
Asbestos fibers, rubber binders and fillers are mixed to achieve the specified composition and properties.
The mixed compound is calendered into sheets of uniform thickness and density under controlled pressure.
Sheets are cured to develop mechanical properties, then inspected for thickness, density, tensile strength and surface quality.
Sheets are cut to standard or custom sizes, and packaged with protective interleaving for export and storage.
We focus on supplying industrial sealing materials to overseas distributors, gasket manufacturers, maintenance companies and industrial buyers in permitted regions.
